We’re a family of three and had an amazing time on the 5-hour Shogun trip today. The bus picked us up right from our hotel — the ride was long but really convenient. We were lucky to see pilot whales, dolphins, flying fish, and possibly even a turtle as we left the swim stop after lunch. Speaking of lunch, it was surprisingly tasty for something served on a boat to a big group — exactly what we needed. The cocktails were freshly made and came in a nice variety too. The music was upbeat and kept the group energy high. The crew spoke several languages so everyone felt included, which we really appreciated. Our daughter felt seasick early on, but with some kind help from Andy, she was back to enjoying herself in no time. This trip was definitely one of the best parts of our Tenerife holiday!
We had a wonderful day aboard the Shogun! Although the bus ride from Puerto de la Cruz took about two hours, it was worth it. The boat was spacious, well-equipped, and the crew couldn’t have been more welcoming. We got to see both pilot whales and two different kinds of dolphins — such an incredible experience! They gave us plenty of time to watch the animals before heading toward Los Gigantes for a swim. Lunch was decent, though vegetarian choices were a bit limited. The crew spoke multiple languages, including Spanish, German, English, and French, which made everything easier. The music added a fun touch, though it did get a little loud near the end. All in all, a memorable trip!
