Tour program
Your catamaran tour with White Tenerife, begins at Puerto Colón, dock 8, in Costa Adeje. If you’re arriving by car, there are several paid parking areas close to the marina — either within the port itself or along the nearby access road.
We advise arriving with at least 30 minutes to spare prior to your scheduled departure, to ensure that you have ample time to check in, find parking and make yourself comfortable before boarding commences. Its easily reachable by taxi or public transport if you’re staying in South Tenerife.
The Catamaran — As soon as you step on board the catamaran, you are greeted by friendly staff with warm smiles to make you feel at home. They’ll offer facts about the whales and dolphins you might see during the tour, too, ranging from how they capture food to behavioral and migratory habits. And don’t be afraid to ask questions — they love what they do and love to share their knowledge.
There is ample room for each of the guests on the boat. Whether you like to bask in the sun or sit in the shade, there’s a place for you. Seats in the visual seating section are first come, first served, so plan to arrive early to get the optimal spot on board.
The tour guides you through the Teno-Rasca Marine Reserve — among the top places in Europe to observe marine life in its natural habitat. More than 21 species of dolphins and whales are known to frequent these waters, including short-finned pilot whales, Atlantic spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and, occasionally, sea turtles.
While sightings are not guaranteed, they are highly likely — only a few tours each year return without a sighting. As a member of the World Cetacean Alliance and holder of the Blue Flag, White Paradise is committed to responsible whale watching and marine conservation.
As soon as animals are near, engines are turned off, fostering a peaceful, reverent environment. Thanks to a special underwater sound system, you can even hear the garbled sounds that whales and dolphins use to communicate — a rare and moving experience.
The tour takes a break for a refreshing 30-minute swim and snorkel stop. You’ll stop to anchor at the stunning Diego Hernandez beach on the 3-hour tour. The catamaran anchors for a swim during the 5-hour trip in the region’s crystal-clear waters of Masca Bay — a beautiful and remote natural setting.
Goggles are available on board, so you can take a closer look at the marine life around you. It has ladders at the very back of the boat for easy and safe access to the sea. The captain will have an alternate location in mind should weather conditions dictate this.
While returning toward Puerto Colón, enjoy panoramic views of Tenerife’s rugged southern coastline. You may see La Gomera on a clear day, or the iconic silhouette of the volcano, Mount Teide, soaring above the island.
If you’re on the extended tour, you’ll also have time to marvel at the towering cliffs of Los Gigantes and the idyllic beauty of Masca village, slotted between the mountains — a spellbinding way to finish your ocean voyage.

Truly unforgettable! Our first trip was cut short due to rough sea conditions, but the captain and crew were incredibly professional and prioritised everyone’s safety. They kindly invited us back the next day — free of charge — and it turned out to be an incredible experience. We spotted both pilot whales and dolphins, enjoyed a light lunch and a refreshing swim. One of the highlights was hearing the whales through an underwater microphone — absolutely surreal! The crew went above and beyond. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tenerife.
What an amazing experience aboard the White Paradise catamaran! We had the chance to see dolphins and other marine life up close. The crew was incredibly friendly and shared interesting facts about the animals throughout the trip. We enjoyed some cold beers and a light snack on board, and there was even time for a swim if you felt like jumping in. Absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tenerife.
